Founding Story
Bazoom’s journey started in 2019 when the founders started a marketing agency offering SEO, social media, and ads, while keeping link sales as their core focus. They even started a platform for managing content creation, Textmate, run by a part-time manager and a team of 30-40 writers.
Things changed when Nikolaj Østergaard joined the team in May 2019 to handle Google Ads. His addition allowed the team to scale up on selling links.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, the team made the strategic decision to focus solely on link sales, moving away from agency work. That’s how Bazoom was launched. The link database started in Google Sheets and slowly moved to a fully functional marketplace platform by 2020 end.

As the business grew, the team began hiring internationally, particularly in Serbia. Today, Bazoom has offices in Málaga, Malta, Miami, Copenhagen, and Aarhus.
The idea behind Bazoom wasn’t born overnight—it was a gradual realization. The team’s mission is to ensure link building is a hassle-free process for everyone.
Our Review
We created a Bazoom account to check their guest-posting marketplace in detail. We also contacted their support team with further queries.
Our review of the Bazoom marketplace is unbiased and an honest representation of what I thought of the platform.
Interface
Bazoom has a clean (and colorful) marketplace. The platform shows all the key data points for publisher sites—estimated organic traffic, traffic trends and geo-distribution, and domain authority metrics (from all the major SEO tools), and also has robust filters in place.
Bazoom marketplace view
The platform even shows backlink metrics like referring domains and domain age for each of their listed sites – which is not so common with other platforms.
Overall, I liked the interface, the data provided about the publisher sites, and the ease of use.
What users say
Bazoom has decent Trustpilot reviews, with a mix of mostly good reviews and a few bad ones. Most of the good reviews seem genuine as well.
But when we mailed their support team, we got a canned response — which we felt could have been better since other platforms replied to us with helpful, detailed responses.
